First UK Review in: Uncut Magazine gives All You Need To Sleep 4/5 Stars!
Published June 30th, 2010 in Hellsayers.SPACED-OUT AMERICANA. SFA’S CIAN CIARAN GUESTS!
“This band’s shimmering mix of cosmic pop and dusty Americana isn’t without precedent- The Dream Syndicate, Giant Sand and Beachwood Sparks are kindred spirits- but it’s this record’s clever balancing act that makes it so alluringly hard to pin down. For ‘The Devil Has A Map’ it boots Neil Young into Pink Floy’s trippy orbit, then adds a lather of effects, while ‘The Lonesome Sea’ charts a ’70s heavy space-rock course. But whichever direction they choose, the Hellsayer’s aim remains true” ****
